TRANSPORTATION

Our University has five campus locations in total: The Sıhhiye, Beytepe and Beşevler campuses are located within the city borders. The Balâ and Polatlı campuses are located in the neighbouring counties of Ankara.

TRANSPORTATION TO THE SIHHIYE CAMPUS

The Sıhhiye Campus is situated in an area between the Ulus and Hamamönü Districts, which are known as the earliest settlement areas of Ankara. The Campus is only a 10 or 15 minute walk from the Sıhhiye, Kurtuluş, Opera and Samanpazarı Districts. You can  reach the Sıhhiye Campus by taking the bus number 230 with the route label "Hacettepe-Beytepe Kampüsü" or  by taking either the Ankaray Subway or local trains and getting off at the Kurtuluş station. Visitors with private cars can drive into the Campus through the Sıhhiye or Kurtuluş Gates. Paid car park number 5 is open 24 hours for private car parking.

TRANSPORTATION TO THE BEYTEPE CAMPUS

The Beytepe Campus is located at the 14th km. of the Ankara-Eskişehir Highway.

Mass Transportation

Buses  

You can reach the Beytepe Campus by taking the bus number 230 with the route label "Hacettepe-Beytepe Kampüsü", which departs from the Sıhhiye Campus. The route information of the bus number 230 is as follows:

The EGO buses which drive to Beytepe Campus complete their route by taking a shuttle tour within the campus. The bus stops on the Beytepe Campus are as follows:

• Faculty of Letters Bus Stop**
• Yıldız Amfi (Pentagonal Amphi) Bus Stop
• Food Engineering Department Bus Stop
• İİBF (Economic and Administrative Sciences Faculty) Bus Stop
• School of Foreign Languages Bus Stop
• Stadium Bus Stop***

* After the bus departs from this stop, passengers can be picked also from the following bus stops within the Campus area.

** No passenger is picked up for the Sıhhiye destination at these bus stops. Only those who will travel inside the Campus area is picked up. The first bus stop for passengers who would go to Sıhhiye is the Yıldız Amfi Bus Stop.

*** This is the only bus stop used for picking and dropping passengers after 16.30 pm on week days and holidays. Shuttle buses and other bus stops are not available after 16:30 hrs.

DEPARTURE HOURS:

During periods when education-instruction is going on at Beytepe (Fall, Spring and Summer Terms), one bus leaves every 20 minutes. Buses may be more frequent if required on this route. One bus leaves every thirty minutes after 18.00 pm and on holidays.

NOTE: Passengers must have tickets (magnetic cards) to take the EGO buses. It is recommended that you should have extra tickets with you since you may not easily find bus tickets in Beytepe, particularly at night and during holidays.

 "Dolmush"Services (Minibuses)

"Dolmush"services provide an alternative means of transportation to the Beytepe Campus. The fee is paid per person in cash. The earliest minibus departs from the Sıhhiye Campus at 07.00. They stop running to the Beytepe Campus after 20:30 pm. There is no service back to the city center from Beytepe after 19.00 pm. They follow the same route as the EGO buses.

Private Car Driving

You can take the Hacettepe Exit at the 14th km. of the Ankara-Eskişehir Highway and continue to the Main Gate (A). Entering the Beytepe Campus through the Main Gate, it is approximately 3 kms. up to the sign posts that direct drivers to particular in-campus destinations.

Note: The EGO buses and private shuttle buses depart from various locations of Ankara for the Beytepe Campus during both Fall and Spring Terms. Further information can be obtained at the Beytepe EGO departure point or the Kazan Turizm Contact Office. These services may not run during the summer or the registration periods (except for certain destinations).

TRANSPORTATION TO THE BEŞEVLER CAMPUS

This campus is in the Beşevler District. It is only a 1 or 2 minute walk from the Ankaray Subway, Beşevler station.
