FACULTY OF EDUCATION

The faculty aims to meet the ever increasing demand of competent and fully equipped teachers and education specialists. The programmes of the departments have the twin objective of training teachers for various phases of education and developing teaching skills and methodologies with full access to modern technologies and methods, and train specialists in all fields of education, planning, organization, and management.
Teaching is by a combination of lectures, classes, and practical work in modern laboratories with state-of-the-art workstations. Students are required to do practice teaching in schools as a part of their training. Assessment is by coursework, examinations and practice teaching.
